We have the technical team and the experience to retrofit any type of machinery to electrical
KEEPING THE CENTER OF GRAVITY AND TARE OF THE ORIGINAL VEHICLE
Depending on the needs of our customers we can adjust the quantity and position of the batteries to maintain the same weight per axle of the original vehicle.
OPTIMIZING BATTERIES FOR EACH APPLICATION
Each application has its unique characteristics, in terms of recharge times, required autonomy, battery life, among others. In order to obtain a cost-effective solution, in our retrofits, we offer several optimizations such as: quantity (autonomy) and type of batteries (related to the charging speed).
MAINTENANCE, TECHNICAL SERVICE AND FLEET MONITORING
We offer maintenance and technical service of our conversions, as well as fleet monitoring, to learn from the applications and to be able to offer future conversions that are better adapted to real operating conditions.
DECREASE IN EMISSIONS
Being a 100% electric vehicle, it does not have any type of gas emissions on site, which is why it becomes especially useful in certain applications (for example inside underground mines). In addition, it does not produce NOx or SOx, and the equivalent CO2 emissions are considerably lower (in the case of buses, 72% less).
HIGH RELIABILITY AND COMPATIBILITY OF SPARE PARTS
All the components used (batteries, motors, compressors, etc.) are of the international automotive standard, so they are tested for reliable operation over time, in the harshest operating conditions. By reusing the same chassis, operators have the certainty that the main component of the machine to be retrofitted is reliable, and also maintain compatibility of spare parts with other equipment (brakes, suspension, cabin elements, etc.) thus ensuring minimum implementation costs and being able to have hybrid fleets (some electrical equipment, some diesel) without the need to duplicate inventory.
MERCEDES BENZ O500U BUS FOR TRANSANTIAGO
We retrofitted a Mercedes Benz O500U bus for METBUS, the diesel engine, the diesel tank and all associated components were removed, and a 250 kW electric motor and 100 kWh lithium ion batteries (NMC) were installed.
MERCEDES BENZ BUSES FOR EL TENIENTE DIVISION
We retrofitted for Link Service buses Mercedes Benz lo916, the diesel engine and all the associated components were removed, to install an electric motor of 200 kW peak and 145 kW continuous and 140 kWh of LFP batteries. All components and structures are designed to operate in a harsh environment, with high temperatures, salinity, humidity and all the conditions found in an underground mine.
